1 CONT Mrs. William Wuthenow, Sr., a resident of this community since 1914, pass
1 CONC ed away last Friday morning at the family home at Briar Hills. She had be
1 CONC en in failing health for about six years and was 67 years of age.
1 CONT Mrs. Wuthenow, whose maiden name was Miss Lillian Weller, was born in Bal
1 CONC timore, Maryland, December 20, 1871 and lived in that place as a girl. S
1 CONC he also lived for some time at Chicago and following her marriage to Willi
1 CONC am Wuthenow, she and her husband resided in a number of places as he was a
1 CONC ssociated with the Republic Steel Corp. In 1914 they came to Fremont and p
1 CONC urchased the property east and north of this city where they have since ma
1 CONC de their home. She was keenly interested in many subjects and had acquir
1 CONC ed a liberal education as a reader. Mrs. Wuthenow was a member of the Chri
1 CONC stian Science Society.
1 CONT She is survived by her husband: a son, Willia, of Fremont, and two daught
1 CONC ers, Mrs. Yvonne McVicker of Chicago and Mrs. Bruce Grant of Fremont. Fune
1 CONC ral services were conducted Monday afternoon from the Crandall & Ensing Fu
1 CONC neral home with Fritz Reber, reader of the local Christian Science Societ
1 CONC y, in charge. Interment was made at Maple Grove Cemetery
