Sue and Ron Antinori

Ron and I are building a new house in Atlanta, it's quite the architectural wonder, but while I wait for it I live in the mountains of GA spending most of my time in my studio potting.  I've become quite obsessive, much to the loss of my garden, my house, my friends, my family....oh my.  I'm too old for addictions!

All is well in our family:  Bruce is almost done with his Phd., he has two grandkids now, Bill and Kathy have...uh, let's see...18 kids now, two in college, one about to be married.  Erica is still with her significant other Rocky, my Ron is wonderful, enjoying retirement...on the Board of the Atlanta Opera and various theater groups.  I try to stay un-busy but am still on a couple of Boards and try to always have an airline ticket ready.  Mom and Dad are going strong...a bit bumpy here and there but in general happy and enjoying their lives immensely.

Bruce McVicker is completing the Phd program at UCD, something esoteric with computers and teaching!  Interdisciplinary, I guess.  His son, Charlie, is getting a Phd at Stanford in history. Charlie and wife Maria have two children, Blair and Emma and live in Colorado.   Bruce and Judy adore their two grandchildren.   Their second son, Adrian, is now an electrical engineer.

Bill McVicker and his 15 kids are well and happy and building a frontier town on their back acreage ... an exercise in civics.  Bill and Kathy have now officially adopted all the foster kids.  Bill knows so much about child psychology that he is thinking about going back to school himself to make it official.  And Bill has a new granddaughter, Isabella Blythe, born to his son Mathew and wife, Jacqueline.  His daughter, Katie, has a yr old son, Micah.  His son Tim is on a mission in Okinawa , and the rest are all still at home.

Uncle Bill and Aunt Irene are fine, enjoying Susan and Ron's condo in Tahoe as often as they can.

Susan and Ron Antinori have been spending the summer in the N. Georgia Mountains, Ron is building a studio for Susan to toss paint and clay around in, without ever ever having to clean it up!  They're off to Scotland for a few weeks for an arts festival and then a visit to the Lake District to do some hiking and photographing.

Erica and her pal, Rocky, are raising cogs, planting gardens and having a good life in general.

So, there you go... a mini update!!

Love to you all

Susan McVicker Antinori
